True Compassion Urgent Care
When someone needs care, the last thing they need is confusing marketing.
Freelance Digital Marketing Coordinator · Two years

Let me set
the scene.
Healthcare changes the way I think about a marketing brief. The person on the other side might be worried, uncomfortable, or trying to make a quick decision. During a two-year freelance engagement with True Compassion Urgent Care in Florida, I worked on making the digital presence clearer, more consistent, and easier to find.
The work had to balance visibility with sensitivity. Too much clinical language can distance people. Too much sales pressure can make the message feel wrong for the moment. I needed the communication to help someone understand their next step without adding to the stress.
What would make this easier to understand if I were already worried?
Take the practical information seriously
I managed the Google Business Profile presence, including accurate information, imagery, and review responses. Local search matters because a person may be deciding where to go right now. In that setting, reliable details and a responsive presence are part of the experience.
Keep the creative work calm and recognisable
I designed social graphics and website banners, curated content, and wrote copy that balanced useful information with clear actions. I wanted the visual system to create a sense of order. The design needed to help the message land, not compete with it.
Connect the channels around the same message
Organic content and paid media worked alongside each other. I coordinated the creative and communication so someone moving between search, social, and advertising would meet the same brand. I also paid attention to meaningful actions such as enquiries, saves, and local-search clicks instead of treating public likes as the whole picture.
What I made
and put in place.
- Google Business Profile management
- Review-response coordination
- Social and website creative
- Educational content and copy
- Organic and paid campaign coordination
What changed.
The engagement brought local search, patient-facing information, and creative into a more consistent experience. The aim throughout was to make the next step clearer for someone deciding where to find care.
What stayed with me.
Sometimes the strongest creative decision is restraint. Being useful can matter more than being clever.
If your audience comes to you at an important or sensitive moment, I’ll take that context seriously.
